Q: What about gratuities?
A: Gratuities are usually optional. They can be prepaid with cruise payment or paid at the end of the cruise. Cost is usually about $10 per day per person.

Q: Do I need a passport?
A: Everyone must have a passport.

Q: What if I get sick?
A: If you are worried about getting sick you can start on anti- nausea medication a day or two before you begin your cruise. You can also get ati-nausea medication on the ship.
Tip: Be careful what and how much you eat the first day.

Q: Do I have to get dressed up?
A:On most cruises formal dress is optional, smart casual is most common in the dining rooms. You can be as formal as you wish.

Q: Is there a doctor on the ship?
A: Most cruise lines have 24-hr medical services and staff.

Q: Is there e-mail service?
A: There is Internet access available.

Q: Is there security on the ship?
A:Every ship is thoroughly inspected before it sails. There is NO other form of transportation that offers such a variety of safety and trained personnel for its customers.

Q: Can I bring an iron?
A:To minimize the risk of fire a blow dryer is provided and there is usually a laundry service on each floor or you can use the ships professional laundry service. Personal irons are not recommended. You may bring hair appliances.

Q: How much cash will I need?
A: You will not use any cash while you are onboard ship. You will open up an onboard charge account. You will need cash or credit card to open your account. For ports of call expenses you will need some cash and most ports will accept credit cards. The amount of recommended cash varies with each cruise.

Q: Are drinks included?
A:Alcohol and sodas are NOT included. Juice, coffee and milks are unlimited. Beverage passes are usually available.

Q: Is entertainment included?
A:Yes. There is NO charge for the fabulous live entertainment every night.
